In essence, MoneyDance had turned into everything I hated about Quicken.įor $35 (on Amazon) I thought I’d give Quicken a try again. I find it to be a more solid offering than either MoneyDance or the old Quicken. It is not without compromises, but there is nothing that is a show stopper nor anything that causes me more than a few extra minutes per week.
I do see that they seem to be actively soliciting ideas for new/improved features, and even grading themselves on what has been accomplished. My advice is if you haven’t looked at quicken in years, it may be worth revisiting. And if you don’t like it, they do have a money back policy.
